Never Beg A Man Merch Shoot

This campaign was created for the artist Onoleigh, to promote the launch of a merch line for her single “Never Beg A Man” on all social platforms, as well as provide up to date visuals for the merch website that aligned with artists’ brand.

The client expressed a need to promote her merchandise store with updated visuals that aligned more closely with her identity as an artist, while also strengthening her presence on social platforms. Beyond visibility, the goal was to encourage followers to support her work financially by positioning merch as an extension of her brand, and the world she was creating for her audience in and outside her music.

After discussing desires with the client, a simple and sleek merch shoot was idealized, keeping in mind both the need for aesthetically enticing content, and your basic product shot needs for the website. The deck below features the overarching concept, ideals for the space and types of shots, as well as how content can be recycled into multiple forms of posts, i.e. photos can be turned into video carousels, and behind the scenes content into reels.

Creative direction, videography, analog capture, and video editing were contributed to Phoenix, whereas Jessica Hood (of TRACK mgmt) was brought in for photography and creative support.
